Meet Information

Coaches, the Greenwood Cross Country team welcomes you and your runners to our annual Gatorland Run, being held Saturday, September 21st at Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green.

Our course is predominantly on grass with the exception of the 3K and 5K having some gravel under the overpass. Courses are mostly flat and fast.

8:30 Coaches Meeting
9:00 High School Girls 5K (unlimited, $75 per team or $10 individual)
9:40 High School Boys 5K (unlimited, $75 per team or $10 individual)
10:10 Middle School Girls 3K (unlimited, $50 per team or $10 individual)
10:40 Middle School Boys 3K (unlimited, $50 per team or $10 individual)
11:10 Elementary Girls 2K (unlimited, $30 per team or $5 individual)
11:40 Elementary Boys 2K (unlimited, $30 per team or $5 individual)
12:10 AWARDS

Note: teams with more than 14 athletes in a single event, please contact meet director for team fees.

Awards:


High School
: The top 20 girls and boys will receive medals when finishing the race. The top 3 teams will receive a custom award.


Middle School
: The top 20 girls and boys will receive medals when finishing the race. The top 3 teams are awarded a custom award.


Elementary
: The top 20 girls and boys will receive medals when finishing the race. The top 3 teams are awarded a custom award.

Please mail entry checks by Sept. 15th or bring day of meet.

Directions to Phil Moore Park:

From I-65 North, take exit 22 and stay left (231 South) towards Scottsville. Continue on Scottsville Rd for 3 miles. Phil Moore park is located on the right.

From 1-65 South, take exit 20 and stay right (I-165 South) towards Scottsville. Continue on I-165 for 1.8 miles. Turn right on Scottsville Road (231 South). Continue on Scottsville Road for .75 miles. Phil Moore park is located on the right.

Parking

Buses can turn into main entrance to unload runners and equipment and will be directed from there.

Those needing accessible parking and with the appropriate vehicle placard will be given priority parking.

Spectator parking will be available at the main entrance on Scottsville Road for spectators. There will be a $5 fee for parking. Buses are free.
